We are lucky in {Town or County} to have so many great playgrounds and parks to explore. From swings to slides, to climbing walls and water features, (Town's} parks and playgrounds keep my kids active, are a great place to meet old friends (and make new! friends), and they're FREE!
I often get asked what our favorite playgrounds are, so I thought I'd share here with you my family's picks for our top five playgrounds and parks to visit in {Town}.
Locations are listed alphabetically:
Millerstown Area Community Park & Playground
110 West Juniata Pkwy
Millerstown, PA 17062
What we love about Millerstown Park:
The park is located about 1 mile east of Millerstown, nestled along the banks of the beautiful Juniata River. Its 40 acres houses the Millerstown Community Swimming Pool, the carnival grounds, 2 youth soccer fields, a playground, a youth baseball and football field, numerous foot paths and a walking bridge across the creek. Our park is pet friendly, so if you want to bring a four legged friend along for a nice stroll along the river, please feel free to do so. Whether you enjoy stretching your legs on our footpaths, or you want to take in the beautiful views of the river on our bridges, we invite you and your family to enjoy all of these attractions at the park.We are very proud of our new amphitheater. Since it was built, it has seen some of the best of local bands, and has also served as a stage for our local community band, and our nations' Drum and Bugle Corp. http://www.millerstownpa.com/park.htm
